I was born in Albuquerque in 1959 and lived here until
after graduating from Highland High in 1977. After spending
some time pursuing a higher education, working in offshore
oil and living elsewhere, I returned to my roots and became employed at UPS.
As luck would have it I was the delivery driver for the area
this web site encompasses. Roughly Juan Tabo and Central East through the Canyon. After years and years of delivering this
fascinating area 5 days a week, I came across a Tijeras Canyon
post card some 50 or 60 years old on E-Bay. One post card led to another and pretty soon I realized I needed to put these cards together in some kind of project.
I hope you enjoy my efforts and invite you to send me any suggestions. Come back often because I am always adding new
photos and post cards even though I no longer cruise this area as a delivery driver.
